We are the Schön family and the entire Alpenhof team, and we’re delighted to introduce you to our hotel and the world of Patchworkhotels Augsburg.
Under this name, we bring together three properties in one location, each with its own unique concept: Alpenhof das Patchworkhotel is our 4-star hotel, offering comfort, personal service and wellness, always included with every stay. Gasthaus Gästekiste is our uncomplicated choice for shorter stays, with everything you really need. And Wohnfakturei, our boarding house, offers a comfortable home away from home for everyone staying in Augsburg for a little longer.

Get to know our two other establishments as well: the guesthouse Gästekiste, for everyone who’s only staying briefly in Augsburg and needs simple, no-frills accommodation without extras like wellness or pool access – and the Wohnfakturei, our house for long-term stays, offering what we call ‘serviced apartments’ – where you can rent rooms with a kitchen.
